Try Mouth-Watering Mawa Kachori at Home Today

You may have eaten spicy kachoris many times but today we are going to tell you about the recipe of sweet kachori. Give a sweet twist to your favorite Crispy Kachori, this mouth-watering recipe will give you a taste of dry fruits, cardamom, saffron and khoya.

Servings: 4

Ingredients:

250 gms all-purpose flour

1 tbsp gram flour

1 tbsp ghee

Water (to make dough)

Oil (to deep fry)

To make the filling:

100 grams castor sugar

150 grams khoya

100 grams dry fruits, cut into pieces

1/4 tsp green cardamom

For Saffron Syrup:

250 grams sugar

250 ml (ml) water

Half teaspoon (soaked in one tablespoon water) saffron fiber

How to make sweet kachori:

Step 1:

Sieve the flour and gram flour in a bowl. With the help of fingers, mix the ghee in the flour. Add a little water and make a soft dough.

Step 2:

Cover the dough and keep it aside for 15 minutes. Mix all the filling ingredients together.

Step 3:

Allow the sugar to dissolve completely in the water for sugar syrup. Let it boil for 5 minutes, add saffron liquid to it and mix.

Step 4:

Roll the dough into a disk shape. Now, put filling in the middle of it, apply water at the edges and seal it well.

Step 5:

Fry all the kachoris in hot oil on low heat. When it turns golden brown, take it out of the oil.

Step 6:

Break the kachori from the top and serve it by adding one tablespoon of saffron syrup while serving.
