Alert Issued in UP: The Central Government has banned the Popular Front of India (PFI) and its 8 affiliated organizations for 5 years in the country.

This organization has been banned after NIA raids on PFI bases in different states of the country.

Meanwhile, an alert has been issued in UP today regarding Friday prayers. Instructions have been issued to all district officials in this regard.

Today i.e. Sep 30 is the first Friday prayer after the ban on PFI. In such a situation, the police administration has been put on alert mode in all the districts of the state including Meerut, Ghaziabad, and Saharanpur.

The Police headquarters has instructed all the district officers to remain alert.

Along with this, instructions have also been given to the police officers for foot patrolling.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, the investigation revealed that the PFI and its affiliated organizations are promoting radicalization in a community by promoting a sense of insecurity in the country.

Alert Issued in UP: 57 members of PFI were arrested in UP

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested more than 230 people in a nationwide campaign against the radical Islamist organization Popular Front of India (PFI).

In this, 57 people have been detained from UP. Maximum of 80 people have been detained from Karnataka. After this action, security forces have been deployed in sensitive areas across the country.

Alert Issued in UP: CM Yogi welcomes ban on PFI

The central government has imposed a five-year ban under UAPA on PFI and 8 affiliated organizations for anti-national activities. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has welcomed this decision of the centre.

He said that "This is 'New India', where terrorists, criminals, organizations and individuals who threaten the unity and integrity and security of the country are not acceptable".
