Latest ICC Ranking: India is a country where cricket is never looked at as a just game. But we Indians are emotionally attached to it.

Most of us idolize cricketers like Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya and Shubman Gill.

The rankings of the International Cricket Council hold a special place as well. India is the number one ranked team in the One-Day International format and T20 Internationals. While Australia is the number one team in the red ball format.

When we talk about the players, there are three players from India who have topped the latest ICC rankings.

Today in this segment we shall name those 3 players from the men in blue who have achieved this feat in their international careers because being a first-ranked player in the rankings of the ICC is not considered as a small achievement. But it is a high achievement for the players in India and other countries.

Ravindra Jadeja: Number 1 All-Rounder in test cricket

The number one all-rounder in the latest ranking of the ICC is an Indian. Ravindra Jadeja holds this spot in Test matches for India.

The all-rounders give the team perfect balance and that is why they are very important to the side. Jadeja is a high-quality batter and an excellent spin bowler.

He even has a century to his name when he played his last Test match against England in 2022. But his injury hasn’t allowed him to take further part in the cricketing action.

However, now he has cleared his fitness test and is available for the four-match Test series against the Aussies starting from 9th February 2023.

Jaddu is also the fifth highest Indian to score the most runs in the current cycle of the world test championship. Ravindra has a rating of 369 and Ashwin, who is in the number two spot has a rating of 343.

2. Mohammed Siraj: Number 1 ODI Bowler

The pace bowler from the men in blue side, Mohammed Siraj is now ranked as the number one ODI bowler in the latest ICC rankings.

Siraj has been the spearhead of the Indian bowling attack and is good enough to feature in all three formats of the game.

His form is very crucial for India, especially with the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 around the corner. Siraj is also a vital member of the Test team of the men in blue side against Australia.

He did well when India went to the Aussie nation for the second time and won the Test series for a back-to-back time.

Siraj has earned a rating of 729 and is just two points ahead of Josh Hazlewood, who is the second-ranked ODI bowler with 727 rating points.

3. Suryakumar Yadav: Number 1 ranking in T20I format

India has an aggressive and fearless approach in the T20 International format because they have a player like Suryakumar Yadav in their batting lineup.

SKY is a class act in the shortest format games for India. SKY is a wonderful player and a treat to watch when he is on a song. He plays all around the ground and some of the shots are extraordinary which keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats.

Surya had a very good T20 World Cup 2022 in Australia and he is in line for Test debut as well because Shreyas Iyer will certainly miss the first Test match at Nagpur on 9th February 2023.

However, SKY has not translated his great T20I form into the ODI format yet which will be a concern for India ahead of the ODI WC.

Yadav ji has scored three T20I centuries so far and still, it is a long way to go for someone who has so much of talent. SKY has a rating of 908.
