J&K: Why Hindu Families are not Safe in the Valley?

Terror Attack in Rajouri: A heart-wrenching incident has come to the fore on New Year from Jammu and Kashmir. Terrorists attacked Hindu families in a village located about 10 km from Rajouri in Jammu.

Four people were killed in the firing, while about 9 people were badly injured. The incident took place on the evening of Sunday i.e. 01 January in the Dangri area, about 10 km south of Rajouri.

Police said that the incident of firing took place near the Higher Secondary School in Dangri at around 7.15 pm.

With the help of the local people, the injured were admitted to the hospital for treatment where doctors declared three people died while one person died late in the night.

Medical Superintendent Dr Mehmood said, "The injured have received multiple bullet injuries in the attack."

According to the information received from the police, women and children were also injured in the incident which took place around 7.15 pm on Sunday.

One thing is visible from this terrorist attack that the target of the terrorists were Hindu families only.

The three deceased have been identified as Satish Kumar (45), Deepak Kumar (23) and Pritam Lal (5), an official said, while the identity of the person who died at the hospital was yet to be ascertained.

According to eyewitnesses, some people carrying guns arrived in a car and fled from the spot after firing.

Ever since the abrogation of Article 370, terrorists have been continuously attacking Hindus and non-Kashmiris. Don't know how many innocent lives have been lost in these terrorist attacks.
