Hobart International: Sania-Nadia Duo Won Doubles Title

Indian tennis star Sania Mirza won the doubles final of the Hobart International Tennis Tournament on Saturday to win the title. Sania, who returned to court after two years has won the first title after giving birth to son Izhan. She achieved this memorable win with her Ukraine partner Nadia Kitchenok. India's star tennis player Sania Mirza defeated Chinese duo Zhang Shui and Peng Shui in the final of Hobart International Tennis. In straight sets, the pair of Sania and Nadia won the match 6-4, 6-4. In this match, the Indian star appeared in full rhythm with her partner. Sania Nadia duo won the match very easily here.

Sania and her partner Nadia were seeded fifth in the tournament, while Chinese players were seeded second. Taking advantage of their experience, Sania and Nadia won here. This is a big win for Sania who has played in a tournament for the first time after becoming a mother.

33-year-old Sania Mirza last played in the China Open tournament in 2017 but was then eliminated in the semi-finals. She has been the No. 1 player in the doubles rankings for 91 weeks. Sania has the best single ranking of 27, which she achieved in 2007. She was married to Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik on 12 April 2010 in Hyderabad. In October 2018, Sania gave birth to son Izhan since then she was away from the tennis court.
