Putin's Visit to India for G20 Summit: Since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war, Russian President Vladimir Putin has stayed away from G20 summits. He had not attended the last two consecutive summits.

However, there are now indications that Putin will cherish his friendship with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

A statement issued by a Kremlin spokesperson on Monday i.e. March 13 said that President Vladimir Putin may participate in the G20 summit to be held in New Delhi on September 9-10.

However, a final decision is yet to be taken in this regard. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Russia has continued to participate in all G20 meetings and will continue to do so.

Putin did not even reach the Bali conference

Let us tell you that Russian President Putin stayed away from the G20 conference held in Bali, Indonesia last year.

In his place, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov attended the conference.

At the same time, due to the Corona epidemic, Putin was connected through video conferencing in the G20 conferences of 2020 and 2021.

Earlier this month, a gathering of foreign ministers from G20 nations was conducted in New Delhi.

The meeting was attended by Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov. During the meeting, other foreign ministers of the world had raised the issue of the Ukraine crisis in front of Lavrov.

The meeting also included US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, French Foreign Minister Catherine Colonna, Germany's Annalena Baerbock and British Foreign Secretary James Cleverly.

The meeting ended without consensus on a joint statement. An opinion could not be formed among all the countries regarding the Ukraine crisis.

This time the presidency of G20 is in the hands of India. Many countries of the world, including America, Russia, Britain, and France, have expressed confidence in India's presidency.
