Hate Speech Case: Jailed BJP MLA T Raja Singh has been granted bail for his alleged remarks against Prophet Muhammad. The Telangana High Court said that Raja Singh has not made any objectionable remarks against any religion.

On Wednesday, the court ordered the release of T Raja Singh with certain conditions.

The High Court has directed Raja Singh not to share any derogatory video on social media and also not to speak to the media after his release.

After leaving the jail, Raja Singh called it a victory of religion. Writing Jai Shri Ram, he tweeted that I am again present in your service.

Hate Speech Case: Tweet of Raja Singh after his release

Raja Singh, MLA from Goshamahal assembly, was in jail under the Preventive Detention Act since August 25, 2022. At the time of his release, the court had directed that he should also stay away from social media for the next three months.

But his tweet made soon after his release has gone viral. In this tweet, he is seen wearing saffron clothes near the idol of Lord Rama. It is also written, "Dharm Ji Jeet Hui. Ek Baar Punh Aapki Sewa Me Upasthit Ho Gaya Hun. Jai Shri Ram."("Dharma has triumphed. Once again, I am present at your service. Jai Shri Ram.")

Hate Speech Case: What was the whole controversy?

A video of BJP MLA T Raja Singh was accused by some members of the Muslim community of insulting Prophet Muhammad. After this, there were violent demonstrations at different places in Hyderabad.

Slogans of 'Sar Tan Se Juda' were raised in the country. The protesters also lodged several cases against Raja Singh.
