Gujarat Elections: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday released the first list of candidates for the Gujarat Assembly elections. The party has announced the names of candidates for 160 seats for the first phase.

According to the list, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will contest from Ghatlodiya. At the same time, Hardik Patel, who joined the BJP after rebelling from Congress, has been given the ticket by the party from Viramgam seat and Rivaba Jadeja, wife of Indian cricketer Ravindra Jadeja from Jamnagar North.

BJP has announced the names of 84 candidates for the 89 seats to be held in the first phase. At the same time, in the second phase, the names of 76 candidates have been announced for 93 seats.

These veterans refused to contest elections
