Our Government is not taking Coronavirus Threat Seriously: Rahul Gandhi

Former Congress president and MP from Wayanad, Rahul Gandhi has targeted the government on the coronavirus. He has accused the government of not taking it seriously. The dreaded coronavirus has spread in many countries of the world including China. Coronavirus has killed 1,113 people in China only. Rahul Gandhi expressed his concern and said, 'The Corona Virus is an extremely serious threat to our people and our economy. My sense is the government is not taking this threat seriously. Timely action is critical.'

There have been three reported cases of dangerous coronavirus in India. All three cases are from Kerala. So far no one has died in India due to the virus, while one in three patients has been cured. Apart from this, more than 600 people brought from Wuhan to India are being monitored keeping them in the army and ITBP centers.

After the latest 97 deaths due to coronavirus in China, the death toll has increased to 1 thousand 113. Most of whom have died in Hubei Province. While 44 thousand 653 people are infected with the virus.
