NZ Vs AUS: New Zealand’s Squad for T20 Internationals and Test Series Against Aussies

NZ Vs AUS: New Zealand will take on the Aussies in a three-match series of the shortest format and a two-match series of the red ball format which will start from 21st February 2024 and will go on until 24th March 2024. Today, we will name the whole squad of the Kiwis for the T20Is and Test series in this segment. Australia hasn’t named their squad for the shortest format yet. But they have announced their Test squad.

NZ Vs AUS: New Zealand had recently ended their 92 years of winless series draught against South Africa in the two-match Test series which the Kiwis won by a margin of 2-0 and the Aussies have won the three-match series against Pakistan at home.

Both the high-flying teams, NZ and AUS will take on each other in a series of two match series of the red ball format and three match series of the T20 International format.

New Zealand will host Australia for a home series of the red ball format after 2016. Two of the players from the Blackcaps side will play their 100th match of their Test careers.

The former skipper and the current skipper will be part of their century of matches in the red ball format. Kane Williamson and Tim Southee will join the elite list. Stephen Fleming, Ross Taylor, Brendon McCullum and Daniel Vettori are the other Kiwi players who have also played 100th matches in Test Cricket for their country.

NZ Vs AUS Match Details – Three T20 International Games and Two Test Matches

Australia’s tour of New Zealand in 2024 will start with the three matches of the shortest format. This series will also be played with an eye on the T20 World Cup 2024 in the West Indies and United States of America in June.

Then both the teams, Australia and New Zealand will battle it out for the two-match series of the traditional form of the game.

1st T20I – NZ Vs AUS is on Wednesday, 21st February 2024 at Sky Stadium in Wellington.

Match Timings – 11.40 AM Indian Standard Time (IST), 6.10 AM GMT and 7.10 PM Local.

2nd T20I – NZ Vs AUS is on Friday, 23rd February 2024 at Eden Park in Auckland.

Match Timings – 12.40 Indian Standard Time (IST), 7.10 AM GMT and 7.10 PM Local  

3rd T20I – NZ Vs AUS is on Sunday, 25th February 2024 at Eden Park in Auckland.

Match Timings – 6.30 AM Indian Standard Time (IST), 1 AM GMT and 1 PM Local.

1st Test Match – NZ Vs AUS, Thursday, 29th February 2024 to Monday, 4th March 2024.

Match Timings – 3.30 AM Indian Standard Time (IST), 10 AM GMT and 11 AM Local.

Second Test Match – NZ Vs AUS, Friday, 8th March 2024 to Tuesday, 12th March 2024.

Match Timings – 3.30 AM Indian Standard Time (IST), 10 AM GMT and 11 AM Local.
