IND Vs ENG: Will Boom Boom Bumrah Be Rested For The 4th Test Matches Against England in Ranchi?

IND Vs ENG: India has won the third Test match against England in Rajkot by a whopping margin of 434 runs. Now the Men in Blue lead the five-match red ball series by a margin of 2-1. India is also thinking about the workload management of the star Indian pace bowler, Jasprit Bumrah, who has played all three Test matches of this series and the reports say that Boom Boom Bumrah might be given a rest in the fourth match of this series in Ranchi.

IND Vs ENG: After the loss in Hyderabad, the Men in Blue have done well in the second and third red ball matches of this five match series. India won the 2nd Test match in Visakhapatnam and they continued their excellent form in the 3rd match in Rajkot as well.

The home side has won that game by a whopping margin of 434 runs, which is their biggest win by the margin of runs.

Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Yashaswi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill and the Test debutant Sarfaraz Khan were the stars for the hosts with the bat in hand.

At the same time, Mohammed Siraj picked up a four-fer in the first innings and Jaddu also contributed with the bowl in hand in the second innings of England, when the visitors were bundled out for just 122 runs.

Jaiswal scored his second consecutive double-century in the red ball format and that too in this current series against England. Yashaswi also scored a double ton in the second Test match in Vizag as well which Team India won.

Sarfraz Khan also batted well and he went on to slam two half-centuries in his first-ever Test match for the Men in Blue and he never looked out of sorts during his knocks in both the innings of the third red ball match. He scored 62 and unbeaten 68 runs in the first innings.

For the visitors England, it was a total surrender and they had no clue of what was going on in the second innings. Their BAZBALL style was a total flop show.

Their scorecard in the second innings looked like a telephone number and it was Mark Wood’s 33 runs which was the highest score in that innings.

However, India shouldn’t take them lightly as there are still 2 matches to go in this series.

IND Vs ENG: NO Boom Boom Bumrah in The Fourth Test Match?

Boom Boom Bumrah has picked up 17 wickets in the three matches played so far.

The management of the Indian team will think about the workload management of star pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah ahead of the fourth Test match of this five-match series of the red ball format in Ranchi. The selectors also want Bumrah to be part of T20 World Cup 2024 as well.

Bumrah has played all three Test matches in this series against England. He has bowled 80.5 overs and picked up 17 wickets, which is the highest by any bowler in this series so far.

Tom Hartley is just one short of equaling Bumrah. Tom has bowled more overs than Jasprit and he has picked up 16 scalps to his name in three matches.

Hartley and Jasprit are the only bowlers in this series who have picked up one four-wicket haul and a five-fer as well. Mark Wood and Mohammed Siraj are the only bowlers who have picked up a four-wicket haul and they are yet to get a five-fer in this series.

Both these pace bowlers, Siraj and Wood, have two more Test matches to achieve this milestone in this series. The fourth red ball game will be played in Ranchi and this five-match Test series will end in Dharamshala on 11th March 2024.

Now the star pacer of the Men in Blue might be rested for the third Test match which would be played from 23rd February 2024 to 27th February 2024 in Ranchi.

Boom Boom Bumrah wasn’t with the team in Rajkot and he drove straight to Ahmedabad. There is no information available on any other play would skip the fourth Test match.

Mukesh Kumar, who had played just one Test match in Vizag was released from the Test squad for playing the Ranji Trophy for his state team of Bengal.

Kumar will rejoin the Indian Test team in Ranchi. India can also pick Akash Deep in the fourth Test match. The 27-year-old pacer is yet to make his debut in the red ball format and he has been included for the last 3 Test matches of this series.

India has won the third Test match against England in Rajkot by a whopping margin of 434 runs.
