IND Vs ENG: India will take on the BAZBALL Style of play against England in a series of five-match of the red ball format which will start from Thursday, 25th January 2024 at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad's Uppal and the last match of this series will be played on March 11th 2024 at Himachal Pradesh Association (HPCA) Stadium in Dharamshala.
As India’s record in the red ball matches in England is not so great, the Test record of England in India in the Test format isn’t great either.
Both the teams have struggled in their overseas conditions and dominated in their conditions which has suited them at home.
India has won the red ball series in England just thrice till now. Their first series win came in the tour of the 1971 and 1972 series. Then India won their second Test series in England on their 1986 tour while the last series win for the Men in Blue was in 2007.
England has also won only 3 series of the traditional format in India when they toured in 1979/80, 1984 and 2012.
England has been touring India since the year of 1933 and their last tour was in 2021. Till now England has played 64 red ball matches in the Men in Blue nation.
