Latest ICC Test Rankings: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest ICC Test rankings and Indian star pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah is ranked as the number 1 bowler in the red ball format. Boom Boom Bumrah is the first ever pace bowler from the Men in Blue side to be number one pace bowler in the traditional format of the game. He is also just the second Indian after Virat Kohli to be name as the number one bowler in all three formats at the same time.

Latest ICC Test Rankings: India had won the second Test match against England in Visakhapatnam and Jasprit Bumrah was the hero of that match.

In the 1st innings, the star pace bowler picked up six wickets to his name and in the second innings, he got three vital scalps which allowed the Men in Blue to level the series to one all.

The third match of this five-match series of the red ball format will be played from 15th February 2024 in Rajkot and according to the reports,

Jasprit might be rested for that match and Mohammed Siraj will be Boom Boom Bumrah’s replacement. But as a fan of Indian Cricket, we would want to see Bumrah in action against the BAZBALL-style players of the visitors England team.

Bumrah’s Yorker to dismiss Ollie Pope in the first innings of the second Test match is trending on Twitte and other social media pages.

Jasprit also dismissed Tom Hartley on a length delivery which castled his stumps and even that video went viral on all the social media channels and both the videos got many views as well.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the Men’s ranking in the longest format, where the Indian star pace bowler was named as the number one bowler in the Test matches.

Jasprit Bumrah achieved the rankings which no other Indian pace bowler has done it in the history of red ball format. He is the only pace bowler from India to get to the top position.

Boom Boom Bumrah is also the vice-captain of India in the Test format. His graph has gone upward and his stats tell everyone why he is the best bowler in the world.

Jasprit had picked up 56 wickets in the red ball format from just nine Test innings. He had an average of 13.60 and a strike rate of 27.51.

The 30-year-old number one ranked pacer has picked up a five-wicket haul four times till now in these occasions since 2022.

Apart from being the number one bowler in the Test matches and the only Indian pace bowler to be crowned as the number one, Jasprit Bumrah has also been named as the number one bowler in all three forms of this gentlemen’s game and he is the first bowler ever to be in the top position of all three formats.

Boom Boom Bumrah became just the 5th player overall to be ranked as the number one player in Test Matches, One Day Internationals and T20 International format at the same time.

He joins the elite list of players – Matthew Hayden and Ricky Pointing of Australia, Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh.

Virat Kohli was the first Indian cricket player to be crowned as the number one player/batter in all three formats at the same time and now Jasprit Bumrah has jointed this list as he is the second Indian athlete to achieve this spectacular milestone.
