KKR Vs SRH TATA IPL 2023: Yesterday i.e. on April 14, Harry Brook became just the fifth player from England to smash a ton in the Indian Premier League tournament. Brook was unbeaten on 100 runs and his ton was the first of the ongoing season of this cash rice ague tournament. That also allowed Sunrisers Hyderabad to win the match by 23 runs.

KKR Vs SRH TATA IPL 2023: The Orange Army under Aiden Markram now has won two games on the trot. After defeating Punjab Kings, the SRH side also won a match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens yesterday i.e. 14th April 2023.

Harry Brook scored the first century of the TATA IPL 2023 season which allowed his team, SRH, to win this contest by 23 runs in the end.

The Purple Army, Kolkata Knight Riders fought hard in a tall run chase of 228 runs. Nitish Rana, the skipper of the KKR side played a blinder of an innings to keep this team interested in the run chase.

But Rana didn’t get any good support and his 73 valiant runs went in vain. Rinku Singh also couldn’t repeat the heroics he did against the Gujarat Titans' side and that was the other reason by KKR lost this match.

The middle-order batter of England’s Test team was in good form before he arrived in the TATA IPL 2023 season. Brook is part of the Sunrisrs Hyderabad team in the ongoing season and after his knock yesterday, it feels that the Orange Army will not let him go.

Harry opened the innings and batted till the 20th over. Brook is the first player to smash a ton in this year’s IPL. He scored a match-winning and unbeaten 100 runs against KKR.

2. Jos Buttler

The current England captain of the T20Is and ODIs format has smashed a ton in this cash-rich league tournament. The IPL 2022 edition was a great one for Jos Buttler and he also become the first player from England to score four centuries in a single season.

Buttler also amassed the most runs in last year’s edition and equalled the record of Virat Kohli, who had scored 4 tons in the IPL 2016 season.

3. Jonny Bairstow

The England opener of the limited overs format formed a formidable pair with Australia’s David Warner when they opened the innings for Sunrisers Hyderabad.

But the franchise decided to part ways with them. Warner is the skipper of Delhi Capitals while Bairstow is not part of any team in the ongoing season due to an injury.

In the IPL 2019 season, Jonny scored his only IPL century when he played for SRH and he also shared an opening stand of 186 runs with Warner against the RCB men.

The England opener scored 114 runs from just 56 balls in that match. 

4. Ben Stokes

The current Test captain of the England team, Ben Stokes, has also hit two centuries in the Indian Premier League (IPL) so far.

Now he is with the Chennai Super Kings side in the current TATA IPL 2023 season. Stokesy scored his first IPL ton for the Raising Pune Supergiants side.

He played a magical knock of unbeaten 103 runs in the 2018 season while his second ton came for Rajasthan Royals in a match against Mumbai Indians. Ben scored an unbeaten 107 runs in the 2020 edition.

5. Kevin Pietersen

The former skipper of the England Team, Kevin Pietersen was the first player from England to smash a century in the season 2012 IPL.

He smashed a ton on the tricky pitch of Shri Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Kevin scored unbeaten 103 runs from just 64 balls. He hit six fours and nine sixes with a strike of 160.93.

That knock allowed his side, Delhi Capitals to win the match quite comfortably in the end.
