Illegal Mining Case: The sages and saints have demanded a CBI inquiry into the self-immolation case of Baba Vijay Das in the Pasopa village of Deeg subdivision of Rajasthan's Bharatpur district.
On Wednesday i.e. July 27, all the sages and saints, blaming the cabinet minister, police and administrative officers, reached the Khoh police station of Deeg Circle to register an FIR.
According to the information, after the death of Vijay Das in the village Pasopa, permission was sought from the administration for holding a tribute meeting, but the administration did not give permission to hold tribute meeting in the village.
It has been told that the villagers of Pasopa have formed Baba Vijay Das Tribute Committee and have decided to conduct Bhagwat Katha in the temple of village Pasopa.
An application has also been made for taking permission from the administration for conducting Bhagwat Katha in Pasopa village and it is also being told that devotees can come from many states of the country in Bhagwat Katha.
In the memory of Baba Vijay Das, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mahant Baba Shivram Das of Aadi Badri Dham and it was decided to organize Bhagwat Katha in the meeting of saints.
According to the saints, Bhagwat Katha will be organized from July 29 to August 4 and on August 8, the program will be concluded along with the organization of Bhandara.
In the meeting of the saints, Baba Gopesh Vishnu Das accused Kaman's MLA Zahida Khan and said that Zahida Khan is associated with the mining mafia.
Minister of State Zahida Khan should be sacked with immediate effect and action should be taken against the culprits by getting this entire episode investigated by CBI.
Baba Gopesh said that Zahida Khan's son has two mining leases in his name, which is why the administration is not stopping mining.
Appealing to the Chief Minister, the sadhu saints sought action against the culprits by getting the entire case investigated by the CBI.
Also, the saints said that in view of the seriousness of the situation, remove all the crushers from Aadi Badri and Kankachal hills and stop the mining or else the sadhu saints are ready to commit self-immolation again.
Villagers of Pasopa village said that when the movement of sadhus was going on for about 550 days, no BJP or Congress leader came to ask for a single day and when the movement is over, BJP leaders are coming to the village.
At the same time, they said that BJP National President JP Nadda has also constituted a committee and directed to conduct an inquiry. The sadhus and saints want that there should also be an investigation that the leader of which party is associated with the mining mafia.
