Krafton Inc, the parent company of PUBG Corporation, has announced a $ 100 million investment in India. The company has claimed that this investment will be the largest investment made by any Korean company in India.
“Thanks to overwhelming community enthusiasm for PUBG esports in India, the company also plans to make investments by hosting India-exclusive esports events, which will feature the biggest tournaments, the largest prize pools, and the best tournament productions”, the company said in its statement.
Company will provide employment to 100 Indians:
The company has said in its statement that PUBG will launch ‘PUBG Mobile India’. However, the company has not yet told when the new game will be launched. But in the company’s official statement, it is definitely said that the information related to this will be shared soon. Along with this, the company has also claimed to offer a safe and healthy gameplay option to Indian users.
The press release issued by PUBG Corporation stated that PUBG Corp would make this investment in local video games, e-sports entertainment and IT industries. Besides, the company will also hire more than 100 employees, local offices will be prepared for this.
