Six Chinese citizens have been killed in a suicide attack in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan. It is reported that the attacker targeted their convoy.

According to local media reports, Chinese nationals were targeted in the Besham area of ​​Shangla district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. According to the police, the suicide attacker rammed an explosive-laden car into the convoy of Chinese citizens.

Local police officials informed about the deaths of 'five foreign engineers and their driver'. It is said that several others have also been injured in the attack.

Local police stated that the attack occurred while Chinese citizens were travelling from Islamabad to their camp in Dasu in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. The attacker allegedly collided with the car of Chinese citizens, causing them to fall into the ravine.

Dasu, in particular, has previously been targeted by terrorists, where a major attack occurred in 2021.

At that time, an attack on a bus resulted in the deaths of 13 people, including 9 Chinese nationals.
