Iranian Foreign Ministry issued a statement admitting carrying out strikes inside the Pakistan in an operation targetted against militant group Jaish-al-Adal.
As a result of these strikes the pakistan government has recalled its ambassador from Iran and blocked the entry of Iranian envoy from returning to pakistan.
Islamabad called these attakcs as 'illegal' and warned of 'serious consequences'.
Meanwhile, China has urged both Iran and Pakistan to show 'restraint' and 'avoid actions that would lead to escalation'.
Tuesday Strikes in Pakistan hit a village in Balochistan province. As per the statement by the Pakistani Government these strikes killed two innocent children and injured 3 civilians.
Pakistan and Iran historically shares a bitter-sweet relation. These attacks happened on the same day as the Pakistan PM met the Iranian Foreing minister in Davos.
