Lok Sabha Election 2019: Re-voting on Kolkata Polling booth in West Bengal

Seven phases voting has been completed on May 19 under Lok Sabha elections. But the polling on a polling booth in Kolkata was canceled. Today these polling booths are being voted once again on Wednesday. This re-election is in the polling booth number 200 of the North Kolkata parliamentary constituency. Voting will run till 6 PM.

It was informed on Tuesday that the polling was held on May 19, the Polling booth number 200 of the 24 Kolkata North Lok Sabha constituency was canceled on Tuesday. The Commission says that this decision has been taken considering the reporting and other facts submitted by the Returning Officer and General Observer regarding the polling booth. In the last phase on Sunday, in view of the rigging of a polling station during the Lok Sabha elections held in North Kolkata Parliamentary constituency, the Election Commission had announced the re-election.

The allegation is that on May 19, the voting result of the mock voting was not eradicated on this polling station. Actual voting was also started with the blocking of voting, due to which the problems arose.
