Some states began loosening lockdown conditions
Meanwhile, some states have started loosening the lockdown conditions by allowing more shops to open. In compliance with the order issued by the Union Home Ministry, some states said that they are taking steps to open shops of textiles, mobile phones, hardware and other things including copy-book shops.
However, this exemption will not be applicable to large markets, shopping malls, 'hotspots' of Covid-19 and shops located in prohibited areas. The rate increase in the number of infected fell to six percent
The ministry said that the rate of increase in the number of infected daily has come down to six percent, which is the lowest after 100 cases in the country. After objections from some states, including Rajasthan, the central government has temporarily banned the use of quick test kits from two Chinese companies. States had said that these kits are flawed and are giving wrong results.
