State Government May have to take Loan to Pay Salaries to Employees

Maharashtra government's Help and Rehabilitation Minister Vijay Vadettiwar expressed his concern at a press conference in Pune about paying the salaries of government employees.

Speaking at the press conference, Vadettivar said that the government revenue has decreased due to Corona. Due to which the loan may have to be taken to pay the employees in the next month. With this, except for the help and rehabilitation, health and other two departments, there has been a lack of salary cuts in other departments. However, he also clarified that salaries will be given to the doctors, nurses and their respective Corona warriors.

It has become difficult to run an industry business

He further said that due to Coronavirus, it has become difficult to run industry business in the state. Due to this, the economic situation of the state has become very serious. The central government has not given any money for the economic package yet. Therefore, given the serious situation, the state should get help soon by the Center. But it does not seem to happen.
