Permission Granted to Abolish the Legislative Council of the State: Andhra Pradesh

The abolition of the Legislative Council of Andhra Pradesh has been granted by the State Cabinet. This information was given by YSRCP MLA Gudivada Amarnath on Monday. He said, 'Andhra Pradesh cabinet has approved the decision to abolish the Legislative Council.

The cabinet has taken this decision starting today. Actually, YSRCP is adamant about this decision. Earlier on Sunday, former Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu held a meeting with his MLAs and decided that 21 TDP MLAs would boycott the special session.
