Patient Affected by Coronavirus Found in Kerala

In Kerala, the corona virus affected person was shifted from Thrissur General Hospital to a separate ward of Thrissur Medical College. The deadly corona virus has knocked in India. The first positive case of corona virus has been found in Thrissur district of Kerala. A student who recently returned from Wuhan has been found infected with the corona virus, is placed in a special ward in a government hospital and is being investigated further. The work of bringing Indians home from Hubei province of China will start on Friday.

The proposal to expel Indians is expected to get approval from China soon. There are reports of at least 600 Indians in Hubei province and the foreign ministry is trying to contact them all. Whoever wants to come to India will be brought home at the moment. First, Indians will be evacuated from Hubei's capital, Wuhan and its surrounding areas. There are more of these students who are stuck there.

Kerala Health Minister KK Selja said that blood samples of a student studying in Wuhan were sent to the National Institute of Virology, Pune, for examination, and the result has come back positive. He said that the victim is a medical student in Wuhan and her condition remains stable. However, yet another investigation report is awaited, only then can the student be confirmed to be suffering from Corona virus. Three other students who returned from China have also been kept in special wards in Thrissur hospital. There are 1,053 people under surveillance in the state. On the other hand, foreign ministry sources said that 600 Indians living in Hubei province have been contacted. Interested people will be brought back.

Permission from the Chinese government is also awaited. It is expected that the permission will get water and the first aircraft carrying Indians living in Wuhan and its surrounding areas will come to India by late evening. Two other aircraft will also be used if needed.
