ISSF World Cup Finals: Manu Bhaker Won Gold Medal

Indian young shooter Manu Bhakar has achieved another milestone for India by showing a brilliant game. The Indian shooter, just 17 years old, won the gold medal in the ISSF World Cup final on Thursday. Manu bags gold medal for India aiming accurately at the women's 10 meter air pistol event. Manu became the second Indian woman shooter to win a gold medal in the women's 10 meter air pistol at the ISSF World Cup. Earlier, veteran shooter Heena Sidhu achieved this huge success for India.

On Thursday, Manu, who came out to hit the gold medal in the finals, took the top position, beating everyone. In this event, more women stars of India came out to play. Yashaswini Singh Deswal (158.8), who finished in the final, finished sixth. The silver medal was won by Serbia's Jorana Arunovic (241.9), while China's shooter Qian Wang (221.8) won the bronze medal. Manu is currently in excellent form. He also won the gold medal at the recently played 14th Asian Championship. Manu Bhaker won the gold medal in the Asia Championship played in Qatar.

The 17-year-old Indian youth shooter achieved the 2020 Olympic quota to be held in Tokyo in May this year. She did not win the medal in the women's 10m air pistol at the World Cup shooting tournament in Munich, but she won the 2020 Olympic quota by finishing fourth.
