Gugan Singh Joined BJP

Before the Delhi Assembly elections, the BJP has given a major blow to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Gugan Singh, who contested the Lok Sabha elections in the year 2019 on the Aam Aadmi Party ticket, has joined the BJP membership. Union Minister Prakash Javadekar and Delhi Pradesh BJP President Manoj Tiwari got Gugan Singh the membership of the party. BJP MP Pravesh Verma and former Union Minister Vijay Goel were also present on the occasion.

Gugan Singh contested the Lok Sabha elections from North West Delhi in 2019 and had to face defeat. BJP candidate Hansraj Hans defeated Gugan Singh by 5 lakh 53 thousand 897 votes. He also stood second in the 2015 assembly elections.

Gugan Singh has been in BJP before also. He was elected MLA from Bawana on a BJP ticket. Former MLA Gugan Singh took Aam Aadmi Party membership in the presence of CM Kejriwal in the year 2017. AAP leader Sanjay Singh and Minister Satyendar Jain were also present on the occasion.
