UP Encounter: Following the encounter in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, where the state's Special Task Force (UPSTF) took down Atiq Ahmed's son Asad Ahmed and his accomplice Ghulam, who were accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, Ghulam's mother expressed appreciation towards the state government for their actions.
