How can anyone remain hungry on the land where many gods have taken birth? If a hungry person cries for help on this holy land, people come forward to help with open arms. Something similar happened with Subhadra, a resident of Palakkad, Kerala.

Subhadra had no money to feed the children. In such a situation, she sought the help of ₹500 rupees from her son Abhishek's teacher, Girija Harikumar.

Seeing her plight, the teacher helped her with Rs 1,000 and vowed that she would try to improve the condition of her entire family.

She then visted Subhadra's house and there she saw that they were living in extreme poverty. Girija Harikumar said, "There was only a handful of grains in the kitchen and the children had nothing to eat."

Subhadra had lost her husband in August. Subhadra was facing financial crunch after her husband left.

Seeing the economic condition of the family, teacher Girija sought help from the people by putting a post on social media, but even Girija did not know that such a big miracle would happen.

The teacher raised lakhs of rupees by running a crowdfunding campaign through social media. Girija also shared the details of Subhadra's bank account in the post.

The teacher's post went viral on social media. After this, Rs 51 lakh reached Subhadra's account as assistance within just two days.

People are praising efforts of teacher Girija

Posting on Facebook, the teacher wrote that I do not know how to express my gratitude to all of you. On the other hand, people across social media are also praising teacher Girija for this effort.
