Nearly every day, social media platforms are flooded with videos showing couples kissing, cuddling, and holding hands while riding the Delhi metro.
DMRC has also sent flying squads within the metro to avoid these events, however, it appears that they were unable to regulate such incidents.
A video of a pair locking lips inside the metro is currently doing the rounds on Twitter.
A handful of films showing a couple kissing on the floor of the Delhi metro have made the news. A boy can be seen sitting on the floor with his girlfriend, who is resting on his lap. Both are locking their lips without hesitation.
Delhi Commission for Women requested Delhi Police to take action
Earlier, Swati Maliwal, Chairperson of the Delhi Commission for Women, issued a warning to Delhi Police in response to a viral video showing a young man masturbating in the Delhi Metro.
The video, which shows the man doing the lewd act while seated on a Delhi Metro seat, has gone viral on social media.
The Commission has requested an action taken report from Delhi Police DCP and Delhi Metro. The Commission has requested that Delhi Police furnish a copy of the FIR as well as information about an arrest made in the matter.
In response to the video's popularity, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) released a statement urging commuters to exhibit responsible conduct during their metro travels.
The statement also emphasized that any incidents should be promptly reported to the DMRC helpline, providing specific details such as the station, corridor, and time.
Video gets viral on Twitter
Many people on Twitter chastised the pair when the video went viral. However, several people were charged with shooting and distributing the couple's video without their permission.
According to one commenter, the girl seemed to be under the influence of alcohol, while the boy appeared to be composed.
