
Deepak Boxer Arrested: In a major achievement, the Delhi Police, in its crackdown against gangsters, has successfully apprehended notorious gangster Deepak Boxer, associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar gang, with the help of the FBI in Mexico.
Sources from the Delhi Police suggest that he could be brought back to India within a day.
Boxer had been evading the police in multiple cases, including the murder of a builder in Delhi's Civil Lines. A bounty of Rs. 3 lakh had been announced for his capture.
After the killing of Jitendra Gogi in 2021, Deepak Boxer took over as the leader of the Gogi gang.
Deepak Boxer fled to Mexico on January 29, 2023, after taking a flight from Kolkata. The Delhi Police had been on his trail for a long time.
With the help of Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar, he fled the country using a forged passport.
Bishnoi reportedly wanted Deepak Boxer to continue running the gang from abroad. Boxer, a 27-year-old gangster, had taken over the reins of the Gogi gang after Jitendra Gogi's murder in September 2021.
In 2016, Boxer had facilitated Gogi's release from police custody in Haryana.
Deepak, a resident of Ganaur town in Haryana, gained public attention in 2016 when he secured the release of Gogi from Delhi Police custody in Bahadurgarh.
In 2018, legal action was taken against Deepak's gang under the MCOCA for their involvement in numerous crimes.
