Goldy Brar alias Satinder Singh was born in the Faridkot district of Punjab.
Before fleeing to Canada, he was involved in an extortion racket in Punjab. Goldie runs his gang from Canada.
A non-bailable warrant is issued against Brar in connection with the murder of Youth Congress District President Gurlal Singh Pehalwan.
Goldy's cousin Gurlal Brar was murdered in Chandigarh last July. Gurlal was a close associate of gangster Bishnoi. After this Bishnoi gang killed Gurlal Pehalwan, leader of the Youth Congress in Faridkot to avenge the murder.
Police say that after escaping, Goldy formed his own gang. He takes the help of gangsters like Lawrence Bishnoi and Kala Jathedi to carry out his conspiracies.
It is believed that the conspiracy to kill Moose Wala has also been hatched in Tihar Jail. Sources say that the Delhi Police, which is investigating the case, has got a phone and on this phone, the suspect Shahrukh has a conversation with Goldy.
