T20 World Cup 2024: The full schedule and team groupings of the T20 World Cup 2024 have been announced by the International Cricket Council (ICC).

The number one team in the latest rankings of the shortest format is placed in Group A alongside their arch-rivals team of Pakistan, Ireland, Canada and the co-host of this ICC mega event United States of America (USA).

The T20 World Cup 2024 will start from 1^st June 2024 with a clash between the United States of America and Canada that will be played at Grand Prairie in Dallas. This World Cup of the shortest format is the ninth edition and it will be played across nine venues of the Caribbean and three cities of USA.

20 teams will participate in the T20 World 2024 and these teams are divided into four groups: A, B, C and D. As said earlier, India is in the A group. The top 2 teams from each group will progress to the super 8 rounds and the top two sides of this round will then go into the semi finals of this tournament.  

The International Cricket Council ICC has also stated that the teams who are in the first and second spots in the group stages they can retain those similar positions in the super eight rounds as well. But the only condition for them is that they should qualify for the next level rounds.

T20 World Cup 2024: India Vs Pakistan Is Fixed On June 9^th 2024 in New York

Talking about the match fixtures of the Men in Blue, the world’s number one ranked side in the shortest format, India will start their T20 World Cup 2024 campaign against The Irish Men and then they will take on the arch-rival side of Pakistan on 9^th June 2024 in New York.

Apart from playing against Ireland and Pakistan, Team India will also take on the United States of America and Canada in their group clash.

1. Wednesday, 5^th June 2024 – India Vs Ireland at Nassau County International Stadium in New York

Toss Timings – 7 PM Indian Standard Time (IST), 1.30 PM GMT and 8.30 AM Local.

Match Timings – 7.30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST), 2 PM GMT and 9 AM Local

2. Sunday, 9^th June 2024 – India Vs Pakistan at Nassau County International Stadium in New York

Toss Timings – 7 PM Indian Standard Time (IST), 1.30 PM GMT and 8.30 AM Local

Match Timings – 7.30 PM Indian Standard Time (IST), 2 PM GMT and 9 AM Local

3. Wednesday, 12^th June 2024 – India Vs United States of America at Nassau County International Stadium in New York

Toss Timings – 8 PM Indian Standard Time (IST), 2.30 PM GMT and 9.30 AM Local.

4. Saturday, 15^th June 2024 – India Vs Canada at Central Broward Regional Park Stadium Turf Ground, Lauderhill, Florida
