This year, the Asia Cup 2023 will be played in the One-Day International format because of the ICC ODI World Cup will be played in 2023 and India will host the ICC mega event.

The BCCI has revealed that this tournament will be shifted to some other neutral venue.

Pakistan has the original hosting rights of the ODI Asia Cup 2023. The members of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) will be in constant dialogue for finding the venue to hold this year’s Asia Cup tournament.

PCB says that they will boycott ICC ODI World Cup 2023 in India

The decision of pulling out the Asia Cup 2023 from Pakistan didn’t go well with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

After the BCCI said that the Indian team would not travel to Pakistan, the PCB also gave a response as they will boycott the ICC World Cup in the fifty overs format which will be held in India later this year.

The Pakistan Cricket Board may still have the hosting rights. The venue can be shifted just like last year.

The Asia Cup T20 in 2022 should have been held in India. But it was shifted to the United Arab Emirates.

The Indian board had strongly demanded a change in the venue so that the men in the blue side and the other teams also can play this event without any fear or concerns over the security.
