Rajasthan Government Provides Free Electricity, Increases Health Insurance Amount

The Rajasthan government announced welfare measures that involved free electricity up to 50 units every month. Also, the government Increased health insurance amounts.

The Congress government in Rajasthan implement these facilities from today i.e., 1 April 2022. Electricity up to 50 units will be provided free of cost every month, to those people who consume up to 100 units per month in Rajasthan. The decision by the national government on Friday.

The Rajasthan government has also indicated that for all household consumers, Rs 3/unit who are consuming up to 150 units, and Rs 2/unit who are consuming between 150-300 units will be contributed by the state government. However, 1.18cr people will get benefitted from this scheme of the Rajasthan government.

OPD and IPD Services of the Government Hospitals will be Free

All the OPD and IPD services of the government hospitals will be free. Also, the government said this scheme benefitted 1.34 crore families. All medications and tests will be free of charge for patients coming to OPD at public health facilities and receiving IPD. Doctors working in public hospitals will ensure that the drugs available at the hospital's drug distribution center are prescribed to patients. He said that, if necessary, in special cases, some medicines would be bought and made available to the patient as a rule.

PPP-enabled services in public hospitals such as CT scans, MRI and dialysis, etc. It will also be provided free of charge to patients. The patient fees will be paid by the relevant medical center to the PPP partner and the required budget will be made available for this.

Ashok Gehlot Announced Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has announced to implement Indira Gandhi Urban Employment Guarantee Scheme for employment in cities. From next year, 100 days of employment will be available in urban areas for the work demanded on the lines of MGNREGA. 800 crores will be spent on this, In the MGNREGA scheme, instead of 100 days, 125 days of employment will be provided. Also,700crores will be spent on this, the expenditure of which will be borne by the state government.

According to the data, the Chiranjeevi yojana amount is increased by 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs.
