UP Elections 2022: CM Yogi to File Nomination from Gorakhpur today along with HM Amit Shah

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who is running for the first time in the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections, will file his candidacy in Gorakhpur today. During the nomination of CM Yogi, he would be accompanied by senior BJP leaders. At the same time, the cops have tented in Gorakhpur due to CM Yogi's nomination. Following the nomination, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, as well as the party's state election in-charge and BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh, will address the public gathering at 10 a.m. on Friday. Simultaneously, ATS men would be assigned to CM Yogi's protection.

CM Yogi Adityanath is contesting in the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections for the first time. The BJP has nominated him as a candidate from Gorakhpur. CM Yogi has previously run for Lok Sabha elections and served as an MP from Gorakhpur. Whereas, after becoming the state's chief minister, he was appointed to the Legislative Council by the BJP. He is contesting the assembly elections for the first time at the state's ongoing assembly elections.

On the other side, following the nomination of CM Yogi Adityanath, one thousand elected delegates from all parts of the city will attend a public gathering at Maharana Pratap Inter College following the Election Commission's orders. Among these 1000 persons will be representatives from numerous social groups and governmental officials, such as educators, physicians, social workers, entrepreneurs, company owners, and activists. This election public meeting will also be broadcast on social media, and to attend, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Union Education Minister, party's state election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, and BJP state president Swatantradev Singh will travel directly to the meeting location on Friday morning. BJP leaders are currently being cast in Gorakhpur, and they will walk from street to street asking votes for CM Yogi.

Amit Shah will also visit Gorakhnath temple

According to reports, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will seek the blessings of Brahmalin Mahant Digvijaynath and Brahmalin Mahant Avadyanath by praying to Shivatari Guru Gorakhnath in Gorakhnath temple after filing his nomination directly in the court of ADM Finance and Revenue (Room No. 24) in the Collectorate. He will then attend the public meeting. At the same time, after addressing the public gathering, Union Home Minister Amit Shah would visit the Gorakhnath temple and have darshan, along with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Dharmendra Pradhan, and Swatantradev Singh.

Amit Shah can do door-to-door public relations

According to media sources, after nominating CM Yogi Adityanath, Union Home Minister Amit Shah might go door-to-door with him to solicit votes for the BJP's support. On the other side, on February 5, CM Yogi will walk door to door doing public relations and will meet with Sikh society members at Mohaddipur Gurdwara from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.

CM Yogi will be under the protection of ATS commandos

According to media sources, CM Yogi Adityanath would be protected by ATS during his nomination in Gorakhpur today. Simultaneously, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be in the Chief Minister's nomination, for which rigorous security measures have been established. In terms of security, police will be stationed on high-rise buildings around the collectorate, and activity will be monitored by CCTV cameras and drones. The Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) commandos arrived in Gorakhpur on Thursday. In addition, four SPs, eight COs, 60 inspectors, 180 constables, and two companies have been deployed in PAC security in CM Yogi security as of today.
