Earlier, Kejriwal had promised to bring 11,000 buses to Delhi before the assembly elections. Apart from this, it has been targeted to increase the length of Delhi Metro network to over 500 km.

The government has started working with speed. The government has asked the officials to prepare a framework for working on the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) election manifesto and the Chief Minister's Guarantee Card because in the next five years, working on the election manifesto and the chief minister's guarantee card is the top priority of the party. With this, the government's emphasis will be on how fast the needs of the common man can be met.

After taking over, Cabinet Minister Kailash Gehlot said that the Chief Minister's Guarantee Card will remain his priority. At the same time, the government will work on further strengthening Delhi's transport system. He said that all the plans to improve the transport system are coming on the ground. In the coming times in Delhi, there will be a change in the transport sector. He hoped that now the central government should allow free travel for women in the metro.
