Three major leaders from Congress and SP have joined BJP at party Headquarters in New Delhi. Since, the election dates got announced, leaders have been rapidly changing their parties. Samajwadi Party and Congress receive huge shock with MLAs switching to BJP

MLA’s switching parties as elections inch closer!

MLA of congress Naresh Saini from Behat constituency of Saharanpur and Hariom Yadav MLA from SPs Firozabad Sirsaganj constituency have joined BJP. Another ex MLA Dharmpal Singh recently leaved BSP for SP and has now joined BJP. Meanwhile, BJP’s strong leader Swami Prasad Maurya from Padrauna constituency of Uttar Pradesh has split it up with BJP and will be joining Samajwadi Party on 14 Jan.

Another recent party changer, Four-Time MP Avtar Singh Bhadana from Faridabad, Haryana have cut off ties with congress and has now joined the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) leaded by Jayant Chaudhary and will be contesting from Jewar assembly constituency in Gautam Nagar district of UP, source PTI.

After five-term MLA Swami Prasad Maurya’s exit, Dara Singh Chauhan of Madhuaban also quit yogi’s cabinet to join Akhilesh’s SP. At least three other BJP MLA’s – Roshan Lal Verma, Brijesh Prajapati and Bhagwati Prasad Sagar confirmed they will follow S.P Maurya.

How Naresh Saini’s joining will Benefit BJP?

As S.P Maurya left BJP in order to join SP, Akhilesh is excited and has already posted photograph on Twitter. BJP will benefit by the joining of Naresh Saini MLA from Behat constituency, because Naresh Saini comes from the same community as S.P Maurya.

UP Election to be held in 7 phases!

As Election Commission ECI has announced the election schedule of 5 states including UP having 403 election constituencies. the nomination dates are 14 Jan to 21 Jan while the last date to withdraw nomination is 27 January. Elections will be held from 10 Feb-27 Feb, and on the 3rd and 7th of March. Counting, and declaration of result will take place on 10th of March.
