Following this announcement by PM Modi, Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh has asked the central government to reconsider its decision, asking industries and shops / commercial establishments to pay their workers in full. Prime Minister Modi said that the first thing is to take special care of the elders of the house and those who have chronic disease, we have to take extra care of them. Secondly, we have to fully monitor the Laxman Rekha of lockdown and social distancing and Home-made face covers or masks must be used.

Prime Minister Modi, referring to the third point, sought to implement the suggestions of the Ministry of AYUSH, which suggested prescriptions for drinking hot water, decoction, etc. to increase immunity. Prime Minister Modi said about the fifth point that as much as possible take care of the poor family and manage food for them. Sixth thing is to be sensitive to your people in your business, industry and do not terminate anyone. The Prime Minister appealed to honor the Corona warriors for the seventh and last point. He said that we should respect all such people of Corona warriors, doctors, nurses, sweepers, policemen of the country. The Prime Minister said that till May 3, follow the rules of lockdown.
