Amritpal Singh Case: Amritpal Singh, the chief of 'Waris Punjab De' and a supporter of the Khalistani movement, is believed to be hiding in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, as per the latest information.

In response, Punjab Police has initiated a search operation in the area. According to the inputs, a suspicious Innova vehicle was found near a Gurudwara, and it is suspected that Amritpal Singh may be hiding in the vicinity.

The police are fully prepared and ready to take major action at any moment.

A hearing was also held in the Punjab and Haryana High Court regarding the petition claiming the arrest of Amritpal Singh.

During the hearing, the Advocate General of Punjab, Vinod Ghai, asked Singh's lawyer to provide evidence that Singh is in police custody.

On the other hand, Amritpal Singh has been put under surveillance by the Nepal Police after recent information revealed his presence in the country.

The Government of India had alerted the Nepal Government about Singh's suspected whereabouts and requested that he not be allowed to escape to any other country.

They further urged that if he tried to flee using a fake passport, he should be immediately arrested.

Following the appeal, the Nepal Department of Immigration has placed Singh under surveillance.

Amritpal was planning to create a separate Sikh country

The police have stated that Amritpal Singh, the Chief of 'Waris Punjab De' and a proponent of Khalistan, was involved in planning to create an independent Sikh nation.

During the raids carried out at his hideouts, authorities have seized items including currency, flags, and maps associated with Khalistan.

Amritpal Singh gained attention when he and his followers, armed with swords, knives, and guns, stormed the Ajnala police station in Amritsar last month.
