Culpable Ways of Aam Aadmi Party to Win Elections

Deepak Sharma

The difference between Kejriwal's words and actions is visible from the feats of the Aam Aadmi Party's cheap politics coming to the fore one after the other.

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who has repeatedly described himself as a clean and Aam Aadmi Party as an honest party, has recently been exposed many times and alleged lies, but now two new cases have come to the fore.

Bribe worth lakhs taken in exchange for MCD ticket

In recent cases, a big case is of demanding a bribe of lakhs to give a ticket for Delhi's MCD elections. AAP worker Shobha Khari has alleged that AAP MLA Akhilesh Pati Tripathi had demanded Rs 90 lakh in exchange for getting a ticket.

The second matter is related to the Gujarat elections where the Aam Aadmi Party accused the BJP of kidnapping their candidate Kanchan Jariwala, while on Wednesday Jariwala reached the election officer's office amid police security to withdraw his nomination. AAP has fielded Jariwala from the Surat East Assembly constituency.

MLA of Wazirpur has also been bribed

The complainant Gopal Khari (husband os Shobha Khari) said that he had given Rs 35 lakh to Akhilesh Pati Tripathi and Rs 20 lakh to Wazirpur MLA Rajesh Gupta as a bribe.

He said that the remaining Rs 35 lakh was to be given after his name appeared on the list.

When the name of Shobha Khari was not included in the list of nominations, she and her husband Gopal Khari approached MLA Akhilesh Pati Tripathi's brother-in-law, Om Singh, to get the money back.

Trap set up by ACB

A complaint about this was given to the ACB along with the recorded video of the time of giving the bribe as evidence to the agency.

After receiving the complaint, the ACB laid a trap and on the intervening night of November 15-16, when Om Singh along with his accomplices Shiv Shankar Pandey and Prince Raghuvanshi reached the complainant's house with Rs 33 lakh bribe, the ACB arrested red-handed with the cash the three in the presence of an independent witness.

Kidnapped Kanchan Jariwala takes his nomination back

Political upheaval has intensified ahead of the upcoming assembly elections in Gujarat. Aam Aadmi Party accused BJP of kidnapping their candidate Kanchan Jariwala.

Whereas, Jariwala reached the election officer's office amidst police security to withdraw his nomination.

The Aam Aadmi Party has fielded Jariwala as its candidate from the Surat East constituency.

Kanchan Jariwala

The AAP candidate is in BJP's custody since yesterday i.e. November 15 (Tuesday) morning. The matter of withdrawing the nomination of Jariwala has created a stir in the politics of the state before the elections.

CM Kejriwal also tweeted about the kidnapping

Apart from Raghav Chadha, Delhi CM and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal also claimed that Kanchan Jariwala is missing.

He tweeted, "Our candidate from Surat (East) Kanchan Jariwala and his family are missing since yesterday. First BJP tried to cancel his nomination. But his nomination was accepted. Later, he was pressurized to withdraw his nomination."

These were the words of Arvind Kejriwal, which seems like a dirty trick of AAP to win the elections in Gujarat and Himachal. This is not the first time AAP is using such a tactic in their election campaigning.
