Man Rescued after Jumping inside the Enclosure of Lion in a Zoo at Delhi

Rehan khan, a native of Bihar's Champaran district currently living in Seelampur, Delhi  jumped into the lion's enclosure but was safely rescued by the zoo staff quickly. The incident happened at beat number 17 around 12:30 pm today. The situation is under control now, said zoo officials.


"Onlookers kept shouting asking him to come back but he didn't even care any one" said sources. A zoo official said, " Man went near the lion and started teasing it. Lion didn't react to it . He was mentally disturbed. When zoo official went to rescue him he started running toward the lion however lion didn't attacked him .  Zoo staff then tranquilised the lion and informed police about the incident.

The police officer said ,"The man is not giving relevant answers .when asked why he sneaked into enclosure, "he said I wanted to talked to the lion". His relatives have been informed and now police is verifying wheather he needs medical help.
