Chitra Brought India to Asian Athletics Third Gold

Asian Athletics championship is coming out with great news for India. Bronze medal wins in Asian Games India's women runner, P.U Chitra, who has brightened the country's name, won a gold medal in the 23rd Asian Athletics Championship held in Doha on Wednesday, while Ajay Kumar Saroj received a silver medal in men's 1500 meter race.

The 23-year-old Chitra named gold medal in women's 1500 meter race at the Khalifa Stadium in Doha with 4: 14.56 seconds. Chitra also won gold at the 2017 Asian Athletics Championship in Bhubaneswar. Let us tell you this is India's third gold medal at the 23rd Asian Athletics Championship.

Chitra said after this victory, "Having been beside Bahrain's runner (Gasohol Tigest), finally got a little nervous. They defeated me in third place in Asian Games. I really had to work hard at the end.
