Doubts on the announcement of CM candidate

Earlier, Congress campaign committee president PL Punia said that Congress rarely announces the name of the chief ministerial candidate, and not announcing it yet will not affect the party's prospects because he has a personality like Priyanka Gandhi to take charge of the campaign against the Bharatiya Janata Party.

PL Punia said in an interview that Priyanka Gandhi is the face of the party in UP and all of us will fight the elections under her leadership. Punia also claimed that there is a direct contest between the Congress and the BJP in the Uttar Pradesh elections as both the Samajwadi Party and the Bahujan Samaj Party have lagged behind and are no longer in the contest.
