Amid the ongoing dispute with China, a big statement has come from the Indian government. The Ministry of External Affairs said that Galvan Valley is a part of India. China is consistently claiming the Galvan Valley. In such a situation, the Ministry of External Affairs has given a clear answer to China.

The Ministry of External Affairs rejected China's claim of sovereignty over the Galvan Valley region, saying that the situation in relation to this area is historically clear. The ministry said that attempts by the Chinese side to make exaggerated and false claims about LAC in the Galvan Valley are not acceptable.

The Foreign Ministry said that China's claim on Galvan was not in line with China's position in the past. Indian forces are fully aware of the alignment of LAC in all sectors of the Indo-China border areas, including the Galvan Valley.

The statement said that regarding the Galvan Valley, India said that India did not take any action beyond the Line of Actual Control. Indian soldiers have been patrolling the area for a long time and no incident took place. On China's claim over Galvan, the Foreign Ministry said that since early May, the Chinese side has been disrupting India's normal patrolling process in the region. Along with this, the Ministry said that there has always been a proper response from the Chinese side to the encroachment activities.

Let me tell you that earlier the Ministry of External Affairs had blamed China for the violent clash in the Galvan Valley with China. India has expressed its strong opposition that what happened in Galvan was a pre-planned and planned action by China which is responsible for the incidents. The Indian Foreign Ministry also said that what happened in the Galvan Valley is a conspiracy by China and this will definitely affect the relations between the two countries.

Significantly, 20 Indian soldiers were killed in violent clashes with China. In this clash, more than 40 soldiers of China were also killed, but they are not releasing these figures.
