China: Work is being Started at Honda Plant in Wuhan with Testing of masks and Temperature

The joint venture of Honda and Dongfeng Motor Group has resumed operations at the Wuhan plant in China.  It was closed in late January after the administration declared a lockdown to prevent the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.  Japan's well-known automobile company Honda Motor has been asked to maintain a temperature check point and a minimum distance of one meter from the employees at the resumed plant in Wuhan, China.  Made a normal way.

Last year, Joint Venture produced 800,000 cars.  Also said that "there are many customers who have been waiting for cars for a long time, in view of which all the employees have been planned to work 1.5 hours more".  GAC President Zeng Qinghong said that Honda's Guangzhou-based joint venture plant with GAC is also undergoing additional shifts.

The Chinese factory had to restart last week, as infection rates at those locations were reduced to a minimum.  Countries such as the USA, Canada and Italy are speaking out to close their workplaces, asking citizens to stay indoors to stop the virus from spreading.  Honda has closed its plants in the USA and Canada till May 1.  Apart from this, plants from Britain to Thailand were closed and some Japan plants are also being closed.

Li Shiquan, assistant director of the joint venture's  final assembly plant, said on Wednesday that the plant has begun to resume in several phases on March 11.  Now the production has returned to the pre-virus level.  Li Shiquan said the returning staff were asked to tell where they lived after the epidemic began, the temperature check point has been installed.  Also said that till now about 98 percent of the 12 thousand employees have returned, working to bring back the stalled production again.
