Amid Controversy, Amazon Gift to India, will Offer 1 Million New Jobs

10 lakh jobs in 5 years

Meanwhile, Amazon has told about the scheme of 10 lakh new jobs in the next 5 years. According to the statement issued by Amazon, the company will invest in technology, infrastructure and logistics network in India. It plans to create 10 lakh new jobs in the next 5 years through it.

The company said that this employment will be different from the more than 7 lakh jobs created by its investment in the last 6 years. These include both direct and indirect employment. Apart from this, Amazon is soon going to make electric rickshaws to fight pollution and climate change in India. According to the information, 10,000 e-rickshaws will be added. At the same time, the company has also announced the elimination of single plastic use.

Goyal clarified on Amazon

Meanwhile, Piyush Goyal has clarified his statement given by Amazon on a billion dollar investment in India. He said, "My statement is being told as if I have said something against Amazon." I think every country has a law and order regarding e-commerce. Whatever investment comes under the purview of that law and order is welcome. "Goyal further said that an unfit competition should not be created in front of small traders in India.

Actually, Piyush Goyal said on Thursday that Amazon is not doing any favor by investing in India. Questioning the policy of Amazon, he said that how can the e-commerce company suffer such a huge loss. He said that e-commerce companies will have to follow Indian rules in letter and spirit. They should not attempt to enter the Indian multi-brand retail sector through backdoor by finding holes in the law. Let me tell you that Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon visited India. During this, he announced an investment of 1 billion dollars.
