1. 7263 - Most Runs Scored by a Player in the Indian Premier League history

Virat Kohli has been a permanent orange cap holder of this cash-rich league tournament. The King has scored the most runs in this competition till now. His tally of scoring 7263 runs is the most so far and still many more runs will come for him.

VK made his debut in IPL in the first season of 2008 against KKR – Kolkata Knight Riders. Since then, the former skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore has made many records in the tournament's history, which is hard to be broken.

2. Virat Koli Had a Year to Remember in 2016

The King had shattered many records in the Indian Premier League, and the IPL 2016 will be the most cherished one for Kohli and his faithful fans. RCB also did well in that season. They reached the final. But still, they couldn't win the IPL title.

Virat Kohli started his captaincy in the Indian Premier League in 2013, and like all other RCB captains, he also ended his IPL captaincy career without a trophy.

His first and last match as a skipper of RCB was against Kolkata Knight Riders. VK had captained the RCB side in 140 games.

Under Kohli, RCB won 66 and lost 70 IPL games. As a captain, he has amassed 4871 runs, which is the most runs by any skipper in the IPL history.

Virat also has 35 fifties to his name, and his five centuries in IPL have come as the RCB captain. But still, Virat Kohli’s name is with legends who haven’t won any ICC tiles for India nor IPL trophy for RCB.
