Indian Bowlers in 2023: India has been a good ODI outfit in this year of 2023. Apart from losing just one series and the ODI World Cup 2023 final against the Aussies, the men in blue side have done a marvellous job in the fifty overs competition.

The Indian bowlers in 2023 have picked up the most wickets. They have got 289 wickets in just 35 games and eight of the bowlers of the men in blue side have picked up a five-wicket haul in the fifty overs format.
Their strike rate of 27.5 is the best in a calendar year. The Indian bowlers had picked up 99 scalps in the 2023 ODI World Cup from just 11 games, which best after Australia’s 97 wickets in 2007 ODI World Cup that they won.
The pace bowling attack of the men in blue side have picked up 190 wickets in 2023 at an average of 21.38, which means, the pacers had struck after every 24 deliveries.
The Indian spinners too have done an exceptional job this year. They have picked up 99 wickets with an average of 26.94 and they never allowed the batters to get away as they gave only 4.77 runs per over.
The Indian bowlers had bundled out the opposition team below 100 runs thrice in this year of 2023 in the one-day international format. The Sri Lankan side was the opposition team when the Indian bowlers had created that havoc.
The Indian bowlers had bundled out the teams under 30 overs for seven times, which is the most in a calendar year by any team.
