AUS Vs PAK: The Aussies have been a dominant team in world cricket. They are the team who have won the most ICC trophies and recently Cummins and Co also won the ODI World Cup 2023.

Australia is also a very dangerous side in the red ball format as well. They won the World Test Championship (WTC) as well this year.

AUS Vs PAK: 4 Test Wins of Pakistan in Australia

Pakistan has never a Test series on the soil of the Australians like Team India did it twice on their tours of 2019 and 2021. The men in green side have also never won a single red ball game in Australia since the year of 1995.

Pakistan played their first ever Test match in Australia in 1964 and till to date, they have managed to win just four red ball games. After losing the first Test match of the current tour, it looks difficult for the men in green side to create history in Australia.

The men in green won their first-ever red ball match in Australia at Sydney Cricket Ground on 14th January 1977. They won that game by a margin of eight wickets.

The second red ball match win for Pakistan was at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on 10th March 1979 and they won that encounter by 71 runs.

Pakistan's third Test win in Australia was a mammoth one. The visitors defeated the mighty Aussies on their home ground by an innings and 82 runs. That huge win came on the ground of Melbourne Cricket Ground on 11th December 1981.

The last win for Pakistan in Australia had come in 1995. The men in green side had won that red ball encounter by 74 runs and that Test match was played in Sydney Cricket Ground on 30th November 1995.

The Pakistanis can draw some inspiration from these wins in MCG and SCG because they will play the last two red ball matches on that venues only.

The 2nd red ball game between AUS Vs PAK will be played on the boxing day at MCG on 26th December 2023.
