Now in this tour of South Africa, India lost the second game of the three match series of the shortest format and the first game of the series was washed out due to the rains.
But India made a strong comeback in the third and the final game of this series of the T20I format. In the second match as well, the visitors, India lost the toss and they were sent to bat first just like the 2nd T20I match.
However, this time, India batted splendidly well and bowled superbly. With the bat in hand, India scored 201 runs and with the white cheery, the Indian bowlers bundled out the Proteas side for just 95 runs.
India won the third and the final game of this series by a mammoth margin of 106 runs. Suryakumar Yadav and Kuldeep Yadav were the chief architects in this huge win for the men in blue side.
The skipper, SKY also achieved a special feat in yesterday’s game. The chinman bowler, Kuldeep picked up a five fer and Yadav ji scored 100 runs.

Hitman is the second Indian batter to score a ton in the shortest format. He is also the only Indian batter to smash four centuries in the shortest format.
As we all know, Rohit Sharma’s career has been changed since he started opening the innings for India in all three forms of this gentlemen’s game and this credit goes to the former Indian legendary captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni for allowing Rohit Sharma to bat as an opener.
Rohit scored his first-ever hundred in the shortest format against South Africa in Dharamshala in 2015. Sharma Ji scored 106 runs which went in vain as South Africa stunned India in that.
Later, Rohit scored his second ton against Sri Lanka where he smashed 118 runs from just 48 balls in 2017. His 3rd century came versus the Windies. He scored 111 runs in 2018 and his last ton in the shortest format came against England in that same year of 2018 in Bristol. In that game, Hitman scored 100 runs from 56 deliveries.
The Aussie great Glenn Maxwell is the second batter to score four T20I tons. The Big Show has been a pillar in Australia’s white ball format. Maxi has a lot of experience in playing the shortest format for Australia and franchise league tournaments like IPL and Big Bash League.
In the upcoming T20 World Cup 2024, Maxwell will be a huge threat for the opposition teams.
Maxwell has also scored four centuries in the T20I format like Rohit Sharma, who is mentioned above and Suryakumar Yadav, who is mentioned as the last player in this list. Maxi was not out in all those four T20I tons.
Maxi has scored two centuries against India. His fourth T20I ton came in the recent series when the match was played in Guhawati. He mastered a run chase perfectly and scored unbeaten 104 runs.
Maxi’s first T20I came versus the Sri Lankans, where he scored unbeaten 145 runs and his last ton came against England. The Big Show scored unbeaten 103 runs in that match.
The number one batter of the shortest format, Suryakumar Yadav has been the latest entrant in this elite list. SKY has scored 4 centuries in this format, which is the third most after Rohit Sharma and Glenn Maxwell.
Suryakumar Yadav is a talented youngster who showed his worth with the bat in the Indian Premier League tournament and also in T20 International form of the game for India.
