
Lokendra Singh Kalvi Death: Lokendra Singh Kalvi, the founder of Karni Sena, passed away late on Monday night due to a heart attack, as confirmed by doctors at the SMS Hospital in Jaipur.
His body will first be kept at the Rajput Sabha Bhawan in Jaipur for the last darshan. After the last viewing, the last rites of Lokendra Singh Kalvi will take place in his native village of Kalvi in Nagaur district around 2:30 pm.
Kalvi was a leader who always raised his voice for the Rajput society in the state. There is a wave of mourning in the Rajput society due to the death of 80-year-old Lokendra Kalvi.
Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara, former Deputy CM Sachin Pilot, State BJP President Satish Poonia, Deputy Leader of Opposition in the Assembly Rajendra Rathore, along with numerous other leaders, have expressed their condolences for Lokendra Kalvi's passing and have stated that his loss is an irreplaceable one for society.
Lokendra Singh Kalvi founded Karni Sena in 2006 with the aim of bringing together the Rajput society. Due to the opposition of Karni Sena, there was a controversy regarding the release of the film Jodhaa Akbar in the year 2008.
Similarly, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Padmaavat faced intense opposition from Karni Sena, generating nationwide attention.
Throughout his life, Lokendra Singh Kalvi actively advocated for the welfare of the Rajput society and raised his voice on various issues.
